FAQ - 2
These are things that I think may be on your minds.
1) The "judgie" portion of the tournament (ballot tables, hospitality, tab, etc) will be in Robinson A. First floor. That, my friends, is new as of this week-ish.
2) You can dump extemp tubs at Science & Tech II - Room 7. This can happen as early as 8am tomorrow (Saturday)!
3) If you have any GMIF kids, OR INTERESTED ONES, there will be a fun table for that. I believe this table is in the Johnson Center -- where we presume most of the students will be.
4) The table mentioned above will also serve as an info desk. "Where's David King Hall?" Ask the info desk... or anyone with an appropriate nametag.
5) Parking in Lot A requires no decals. Just park! Yay!
6) Starbucks is in Northern Neck (check your maps) :D
7) I'm told that L.D. schematics are online. They were not in the things from registration. Also, they should be posted at the tournament.
8) If you did not register at the Marriott tonight (or before in few exceptions) I will see you between 8:00am and 9:00am tomorrow. Don't forget, no credit cards.
8) Anything else? Email ncox@gmu.edu. Be weary though. How often will I be able to check my email tomorrow? Thank goodness I will be there in person tomorrow! And I will be accompanied by my teammates who will also aid you.
:D

FAQ
Robinson A
That's in Robinson A too!
Science and Technology II - Room 7
Yep. It's super convenient because if you refer to a campus map (see earlier blog post), you'll notice that you can drive straight up to the building from two different sides!! HOORAH FOR TUB DROP-OFF CONVENIENCE!!!
There are all sorts of goodies awaiting you at registration!
Yep. Double yep, in fact.
Whoa! Two questions! Park in Lot A, remember? Of course it's walking distance... a healthy walk (5-8 minutes). WARM UP JOGS! YAY~!
30 minutes before the round starts...
You're an adult, use judgement and be safe. We've provided a swell judges lounge. Plus, mingling with competitors at the tournament is also fun! The JC (Johnson Center) is generally a pretty common hang-out as well.
What tournaments do you attend that provide a hip place to chill for the students? Oh, this one. On Sunday, there will be a super fun lounge/hangout/club for the kiddos!!!
CONGRESS FINAL LEGISLATION
ROBINSON A!
Guess what!
I just don't have the time to make the FAQ section at this moment. I want it to be sooo splendid! So above average! To the level of adequacy that Zeus himself upholds things to be! ... or something.

The Email Jason Should Have Sent You Today
1) A tournament schedule- we have revised the tournament schedule. The big change to note is that the fourth round of LD has moved to Sunday morning AND we’ve added a partial double octo-final to PFD!
2) What’s that? More IEs breaking to quarters? It’s true! A lot will have quarters. Check the schedule to find out which.
3) A supplemental packet for student congress with some late legislation. Read it, love it, own it.
4) Information about parking and other cool logistical stuff.
5) An entry confirmation packet- using your school code listed below, please check every event (including those you don’t think you should have students in) to make sure the entry is listed accurately. If it’s correct, super! If not, uh oh Houston, we have a problem. But don’t contact NASA- they can’t hear you and don’t care. You know who does? Jason Warren. The J-Warr. But however will you reach him? The powers of telepathy? Try it, but email him as a backup- jwarren8@gmu.edu just to be sure.
We will offer registration at two different times and places: Friday night from 7-9pm at the Fairfax Marriott and 8-9am on campus in the Robinson B building. Please email student tournament director Nick Cox at ncox@gmu.edu to indicate which of the two registrations you would prefer if you have not already done so!
Round Robin Folks: A special note. Registration will be at the Marriott Thursday night at a location TBA. If you or your student is a vegetarian, please let me know ASAP to make sure we have enough options for vegetarians!
If you will be paying with a personal check, please make it out to Peter Pober. If you are paying with a school check, please make it out to George Mason University. We also accept cash. No credit cards can be accepted, however.
Please note that all fees must be paid BY REGISTRATION. If you are in the scenario where a purchase order has been generated but your school has not issued a check, you will need to submit both proof of a PO and a personal check which we will hold until the school check arrives. We hate to be dogmatic, but due to non-payment issues in the past, we need to guarantee payment for all schools.
4 Days and counting, woof I’m excited!
Sincerely,
Jason Warren
Tournament Director
Asst. Director of Forensics
THINGS TO DO RIGHT NOW:
1. Check your entries at the blog. If everything is kosher, proceed to step 2. If there is a question, email Jason Warren at jwarren8@gmu.edu
2. Email Nick Cox at ncox@gmu.edu to indicate which registration option you prefer! Many of you have, many have not. Please email him. He is lonely and I don’t want to have to take pictures of his sadness to post to the blog to guilt trip people into emailing him.
Did You Ever Want There Should Be An Entry List?
Please review EVERY EVENT- even the ones you don't think you have anyone in (just to make sure you don't have anyone in them!) and double check that your entry is accurate. Also check the Individual Sweepstakes list- students with 4 entries or more should be on it. Students who don't have 4 or more should not.
Did someone say Prose? 168 Proses? Yes please! And a whole lot more!
Questions? Something wrong? Email Jason Warren at jwarren8@gmu.edu
